On the 7th of October, together with our friends from the Rotaract Club of Beograd Dedinje we visited the Adligat Book and Travel Museum in Belgrade, Serbia, where we had sent books from Bulgaria for the museums international book collection. Our visit to the museum was wonderful, as we had a friend from the museum, who gave us a tour and told us many interesting facts about the contents of the museum. After our tour of the museum, we had a meeting with our friends from Rotaract club Beograd Dedinje, talking about the clubs plans and future initiatives together. Our meeting ended with an exchange of gifts, and we received serbian books that we will distribute to libraries in Kardzhali district of Bulgaria. Special thanks to Dragana Dojčinović, Mirko Stojković , Srđan Stevanović to make this visit possible. See you again
We also had a meeting with Marina Anastanova, President of Rotaract Club Stara Pazova, we talked about completed projects and upcoming projects, the relationship between the two clubs, and she also told us about their project called "Jedan cvetak za početak" (One flower for a beginning). Their project contributes to the cleaning of Fruska Forest . When you buy one of their flower seeds, you also meet a new friend (each flower) has a name on it. The main aim of the project is to raise awareness about environmental protection and educate citizens about ecology. We also joined our friends' project and are looking forward to planting the flower seeds we purchased.
On the last day of our visit to Belgrade we met with our friends Rotaract Club of Skadarlija
for a friendly brunch. We had a productive meeting with club president Jelena Radonjić and Ivica Vasić. We shared valuable information about projects in the past Rotary year, as well as projects to be implemented in this Rotary year by both clubs. We also had an interesting discussion about the current state of the economy both in Serbia and Bulgaria and the issues we may face as societies and clubs in regard to the developing inflation
